What does "S3-compatible" actually mean?
Z2 implements the S3 API — the same interface Amazon S3 made universal. Any tool that can talk to S3 (and almost every backup tool, SDK and app can) works by changing the endpoint URL and pasting in your Z2 keys. Nothing else changes.
How do I get credentials?
The moment your order activates, your subscription has an access key id and secret, visible in Zoop Console under Z2 Storage. Create your first bucket at checkout (or let us name one), add more from the console, and rotate keys any time.
What happens when a bucket hits its quota?
Writes to that bucket are refused — a hard stop, not an overage bill. Your plan's total storage is split across your buckets with per-bucket quotas, and you can rebalance any time by creating or deleting buckets in the console.
Are there egress or request fees?
No. The plan price is the price — storage capacity, unlimited requests and unlimited transfer. Restores, syncs and public reads don't add a rupee.
Where is my data stored?
On Z2, our own object-storage cluster in India — not a resold hyperscaler region. Disks are on hardware we operate, and the same platform team answers your tickets.
Can I use Z2 with Zoophost app hosting?
Yes — and it's the natural pairing. Your app containers, databases and buckets all live in the same console, on the same invoice, with the same support humans.
